On the occasion of International Maritime Organization‘s first International Women in Maritime Day, Filhet-Allard Maritime asked our very own Francoise FOUCHIER-MATTE, also a member of WISTA France, what this day means to her.
For me, being a woman in the maritime industry means using your expertise and skills to implement positive change. To achieve greater diversity, it's essential that we continue to close the representation gap for women within the various organizations that make up maritime community. We must also keep striving to make training and job opportunities in the maritime sector accessible to all.
